Strategy Tip for Listening
In Part 1, focus on numbers and names. Kenyan students often lose marks on "spelling" for names. If the audio spells a name like 'S-M-Y-T-H-E', ensure you write exactly that.
General Reading: Section 1
Instructions: You have 60 minutes for the Reading test. In GT, the first section focuses on social survival skills.
Notice A: Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) — Parking
All visitors must obtain a parking ticket at the entry gate. The first 15 minutes of parking are complimentary for drop-offs. After 15 minutes, a standard hourly rate of KES 200 applies. Long-term parking is available in Zone 4 at a discounted daily rate of KES 1,000.
Notice B: Lost and Found Policy
Items discovered in the terminal will be held at the security office for a maximum of 14 days. To claim an item, owners must provide a valid National ID or Passport. Unclaimed electronics will be donated to local charity partners after the holding period.
